Sarika Katiyar
Sarika Katiyar  is a Professor and Consultant in Anesthesiology at Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Bhopal, with over two decades of clinical, teaching, and research experience. She obtained her MBBS from GRMC, Gwalior (1999), a Diploma in Anesthesiology from MGM Medical College, Indore (2003), and a DNB in Anesthesiology from BMHRC, Bhopal (2006). She further enhanced her expertise with advanced qualifications, including the Indian Diploma in Critical Care (2013), FCCS Instructor Course (2011), ACLS Instructor certification (2019), ICCARe program (2024), and a Fellowship in Critical Care Ultrasound (2025). Her clinical practice spans cardiothoracic, neurosurgical general anesthesia, along with extensive experience in critical care and perioperative medicine.
An accomplished academic and researcher, Dr Katiyar has been actively involved in postgraduate mentorship, departmental academics, and multicentric research collaborations. Her research on postoperative analgesia and airway management has been presented internationally, including at the ASA Conference in Chicago (2006), and she has published extensively in various journals such as the Indian Journal of Anaesthesia and Journal of Anaesthesiology Clinical Pharmacology. She has delivered numerous lectures in national conferences and faculty workshops on neuroanesthesia, ventilation strategies, and sepsis management, reflecting her commitment to advancing education and safety standards in anesthesiology and intensive care.
